Artist Statement
“Discovery” best describes my journey through a variety of media and forms. As the years living and working overseas grow more distant, I find that the colours, shapes and souvenirs of life and travels in Asia and Europe continue to inform my work, explored in pastel, acrylic, digital art, mono-printing and more. Current themes include nature and architectural forms.
New works and retrospective pieces illuminate the interplay of light and shadow, surface and depth. Selected works delve into topical issues: meaning, as always, is in the eye of the beholder.
